Andante in G major

Fanny Hensel composed this piece in 1836, and considered publishing it as the second piece in her pivotal Ten Piano Pieces 1836-1837. Hensel eventually published it almost a decade later in her first opus of piano music (op.2, no.1).

Hensel composed these ten solo piano works in 1836-1837 and prepared them for publication but never went through with it. These are the same urtext scores you can download for free here, but this layout is slightly different since it is optimized for printing.

This book measures 8.5” x 11” (21.5 × 28 cm) and is 93 pages long, with a glossy cover and coil binding so it will lay flat on the piano desk. (If you want an edition with perfect binding, you can purchase this same book through Amazon.)
