Etüde. Allegro moderatissimo in F Major

This is one of Hensel’s later childhood compositions, written in 1826. Beethoven’s influence is apparent in this piece of Fanny’s, in which she demonstrated a freedom of tonality and style, following her own instincts and engaging more in unconventional patterns and expression.
