Book 1: Easy Piano arrangement of Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel’s Das Jahr, a cycle of character pieces celebrating the months of the year.
Book 2: Companion book of lessons associated with each arrangement in book 1.

In order to make this incredible work accessible for pianists of a broader range of levels and experience, HenselPushers has created this arrangement of Hensel’s Das Jahr, which preserves the character and key themes of each of the pieces, but presents them at an easy piano level.
This arrangement includes versions of all 13 pieces in the cycle (the 12 months of the year and a postlude), which have been simplified and shortened in length. This arrangement is loosely progressive, and ranges from early-intermediate to mid-intermediate level.
The lesson book offers lessons on technique and performance to support pianists as they learn to play the pieces in the music book. The lesson book includes a lesson for each song in the cycle and is intended to be used as pianists begin to learn each of the pieces in this book. The lesson book can be used by piano students of any age with their teachers, or by adults for self-study.
Each lesson addresses various aspects of technique and performance, but does not delve into music theory. Each lesson includes:
Explanations of musical terms and symbols that may be unfamiliar
A walkthrough to help students orient themselves to the structure and flow of the piece
Exercises to become familiar with techniques in the piece
Themes and frameworks to prompt thinking about interpretation of the piece
