Klavierstück in g minor
This is one of Hensel’s later childhood compositions, written in 1825. In this piece Fanny’s love of Bachian counterpoint is evident—part of the piece is reminiscent of a Baroque gigue, featuring fugal elements and ending on a picardy third.
