Klavierstück. Allegro di molto in d minor
Fanny Hensel wrote this tarantella-like piece in late 1838, a period where her compositions were characterized by pianistic virtuosity and the influence of her brother Felix Mendelssohn. This work is in rondo form and quotes Felix’s Piano Trio (op. 49), also in d minor.
