Aus meinen Tränen sprießen

This is one of 13 accompanied duets for soprano and alto by Fanny Hensel (Hensel says it is for two sopranos, but the soprano 2 part is closer to an alto range). This work was composed in 1838 and is the second in a three-part mini-cycle based on text by her acquaintance Heinrich Heine.
